I really enjoyed reading this in your words “I like this. I get this. It makes sense to me. It makes sense to my senses.” I am on a plant ink and colour journey too, it is bringing me so much connection. I love what you are doing !
I found myself doing this with my cyanotype prints. In the summer there's an abundance of foliage. But last year, I was determined to complete a yearly cycle of what was in offer and print whatever was about. I found myself printing skeleton leaves, plant stalks and ice. I have tried to capture water, but as of yet have been unsuccessful. I'll keep on trying!

This is great to hear, Lou. It is a dear and ever-deepening relationship, isn't it? Heartily cheerleading your ongoing connection. Lovely to connect.

The found nature of making process i am very much here for. This sounds like a great exploration into image making, Bean.
I'm glad you think so, I often feel like I'm a bit bonkers! 😆
Have you ever made moss ink?
I think I have given it a whirl a while ago. Lichens on the other hand are a whole universe of other possibilities!
Ahhh, lichens. I can imagine they are interesting to capture!
