in support of Glasbren regenerative land-based community project
Hello folks
Greetings from deep in the caterpillar pupae parts of this period of research and development. I am plopping into your inbox today to let you know about the NATURAL INK. raffle - entries £5 - in aid of the splendid Glasbren CIC.
Glasbren, the Welsh language word for ‘Sapling’, is a non-profit social enterprise, working for five years now to reimagine our local food systems, rewild the way we eat, live and grow, and regenerate our communities, the people who live in them and the land we depend on.
Glasbren have this year been granted a 10-year lease of the 134-acre Lords Park Farm/Parc yr Arglwydd on the beautiful Llansteffan headland in Carmarthenshire, West Wales. I have spent several days in the last few months on the farm with Abel, Luisa, Steffan and the rest of the Glasbren crew for community gatherings, land work and the delight-full day retreat ‘Coming Back to my Trees/Dod yn ôl at Fy Nghoed’.
An exciting part of this crowdfunder is that each contribution activates match funding too. Double whammy!
✺FIRST PRIZE✺
1 x bundle of 4 NATURAL INKs: Oak Gall Black, Oak Gall Sepia, Copper Pipe Blue, Avocado burnt orange, with booklets, ink making recipe booklet, stick pen, pipette and paper PLUS an original Hawthorn ink artwork on paper, plus two hand-inked cards to share with other.
✺SECOND PRIZES✺
2 x Hawthorn ink works on paper, made from Pembrokeshire foraged Hawthorn. These artworks are imbued with the medicinal properties of Hawthorn and its gentle, heart-fortifying goodness.
✺HOW TO ENTER THE RAFFLE✺
Ticket entries are £5.
Entries close on Friday 26th of July at midnight.
The draw will take place on Tuesday 30th July, winners notified + prizes sent out that week.
Raffle prizes will be sent out to UK addresses via Royal Mail.
Raffle Rules: All entries will be put into a spreadsheet and a random number generator will be used to pick winners.
